Separating the Wheat from the Tares

In this season many individuals and corporations will “seemingly” join the Black Lives Matter movement for fear of losing their status and finances. Be not dismayed, I’m balancing the scales in this season of exposure and famine. Time will reveal their true intentions (agendas) and for many that time is now. The countless deaths of many that  have succumbed to the spirit of pharaoh will continue to come to light in the coming days and months. Their blood have cried out to me long enough  (Genesis 4:10). 

Intercessors this is the season to return to the wall, to return to your watch, for that which I’ve done in the spirit realm is ready and being birthed in this season. Their is a remnant of believers who through my divine will, will be thrust into new positions of authority to exact my divine purpose. This is the shift that has been happening in the spirit. 

I’m not only realigning governmental positions but I’m shifting the culture (mindset) of the church. A revival is at hand with a fresh outpouring of My spirit that many have never witnessed before. This season will launch new ministries to the forefront, solidify others and put some to rest. Yes, many will be lost in this season but an even greater number will be added to my kingdom. 

Intercessors pray for the climate is ripe for confusion. Silence the voice of the enemy by taking control of the atmosphere (airways) by praying my word and will into fruition. Yes, the enemy is the prince of the air but I am God of all. Yes, this is a season of my manifest presence. Many that have been in spiritual caves of Addulam are emerging in this season to take their rightful positions. 

Stand on the following scriptures in prayer: 

But God chose the foolish things of this world to put the wise to shame. He chose the weak things of this world to put the powerful to shame.

1 Corinthians 1:27 CEV

Leave the weeds alone until harvest time. Then I’ll tell my workers to gather the weeds and tie them up and burn them. But I’ll order them to store the wheat in my barn.”

Matthew 13:30 CEV

(I’m separating the wheat from the tares. The genuine from the impostors. That which is not truly mine will be burned away and the genuine will be kept.)

Psalm 135:14 The Lord will bring justice and show mercy to all who serve him.

This is the Word of the Lord.

The Ability to Release

The ability/gift to release ourselves and others from expectations is powerful. The ability to release mindsets and behaviors are immeasurable. Holding on to expectations and ideas regardless of how they originated sometimes serve as our own prison cell by which we are the correction officers.

Take the time to reflect:

Have you imprisoned yourself to an idea of who you are or expected to be? If so, how do those expectations negate the will of God for your life?

Are you holding on to certain expectations of your spouse, significant other or family members that cause you grief, when they fail to meet your expectations? If so, how do those expectations negate the will of God for yourself or their lives?

Sometimes we are not fighting the enemy, sometimes we are fighting ourselves via expectations. Your not fighting your spouse, children and/or family members. You are fighting the expectations you have for the relationship.

I often state, “I will give you the right to be yourself but you also must give me the right to be myself also.”

Are you allowing those you are in relationship with to be their authentic self? Are you your authentic self?

This definitely isn’t a new age message of finding yourself. It’s an old message of finding yourself in God. It’s a message on accessing your identity in Christ.

The word of God declares, “Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” Are you truly free or bound by expectations?

Just something to consider: Are you utilizing your gift of releasing?

I Can Heal You

A Prayer for Emotional, Spiritual and Physical Healing
Father God, We come to you now with bowed heads and humbled hearts thanking you for your abundant grace and mercy. It was you God that has watched over us and protected us from dangers seen and unseen.
Father God, We thank you for being Jehovah Rapha the God the heals. We are a part of a chosen priesthood, a holy nation therefore we will forever proclaim your praises as we shift from darkness into Your marvelous light.
Father God, we wait on you to renew our strength so that we can continue to run this race called life and not grow weary nor shall we faint. We are confident that you will complete every good work that you have begun in us.
Therefore, we decree and we declare that no setbacks, no hang ups. No sickness or disease shall separate us from Your love. We decree and declare that no instability mentally, emotionally, or physically will divert us from the course You have set before us. We come against all spirits of confusion, doubt and lack. We come against low self-esteem. We come against the spirits of anger, rage, depression, suicide, trauma and unforgiveness.
Father God, as Your word declares that it is your desire for us to prosper in our health as our soul prospers – we speak an abundance of provisions into our lives. We speak stability to our mindsets, we speak the peace of God that surpasses all understanding into our lives.
We pray for divine connections and alignments in this season. God we ask that we re-align ourselves with your divine purpose for our lives through discipline. Allow us to connect with those that will push us to become who you’ve purposed us to be. May iron continue to sharpen iron so that we can hear you finally say. ‘ well done, good and faith servant ….enter into the joy of the Lord. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer against a Third Eye and Familiar Spirits

In the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, I now renounce, break and sever all curses that have been handed down to me from my ancestors.

“I bind the “Third Eye” of the mediums and their physical, psychic, and spiritual attacks against me, and all that concerns me. Every assignment, operation, work, plan, activity, trap, and snare is bound and blocked from me personally, my family members, business and ministry affairs. All curses, hexes, vexes, bewitchments, enchantments, all tricks of witches, ligatures, judgments of witches and warlocks, and acts of evil are cursed to the root.

Father God, we blind all third eyes with the Blood of Jesus and command every occultic and witchcraft spirit attached to it, to catch fire in the name of Jesus.

“Witchcraft, sorcery, magic, candle magic, potion magic, black magic, white magic, contagious magic, and omens have no power working against my assignments in life. New Age, Santeria, or Yoruba forces cannot penetrate my barriers of protection. Every work of a curse, ritual, or sacrifice to satan is counted as null and void.

I plead the blood of Jesus against every act and declare that no weapon formed against me will prosper. All demonic thoughts, threats, mental locutions, statements, and ideations are cast down and will not become a stronghold for the devil’s use. I renounce all self-inflicted curses through negative confessions, imagery, and magnification that I may have opened the doors to, I cancel every demonic strategy against me and the ones I am called to be connected with, covered by, or called to cover. They will never manifest or come to pass and are cursed and destroyed at their root. I render them to no effect. They are judged by God, spoiled, and put to open shame.

Every plan of the enemy will never be seeded into my life and take root. No weapons formed against us will prosper. As soon as the enemy attacks, the enforcements of the Lord will be launched against him, and his seed dried up. I cast down every vain imagination. It is broken off me, my ministry, people, and families now immediately, completely and permanently.

In the name of Jesus, I now loose myself and my future generations from any bondages passed down to me from my ancestors!

A Prayer Against Fear and Panic Attacks

Scriptural Basis: Matthew 10:31 – Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

John 141 – Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

2 Corinthians 10:5 – Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Philippians 4:8 reminds us that we are responsible for refocusing our thoughts.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things.

The Prayer

Father God, we come to you now with bowed heads and humbled hearts thinking you for your abundant grace and mercy. Father we stand together now as believers realizing that there is no distance in prayer. We stand on your word when we confess that where two or three are gathered together in your name God you are in the midst. God we join our faith as we cry out to you God and come against the spirit of fear and panic attacks.

God, we stand on your word that instructs us to demolish all strongholds and everything that rises itself against your knowledge. Father God. we acknowledge that we have been bombarded with lies about fear and anxiety that we have believed. We ask that you bring all of those falsehoods to the light. So, that we will be able to defeat them with your truth. Every and anything that is in this world that has been sent by the enemy to frighten us or cause anxiety, we bind it up now in the name of Jesus and cast it out. Father God, help us to stay focused on you and your truth.

We thank you God for being our protector. We acknowledge that some fear originates from feeling alone, unsafe and unprotected. We stand on Ephesians 6 and declared that we have on the full armor to protect us and we stand on Hebrews 13 God, you will never leave or forsake us. We know that you are our faithful protector. We ask that you will continue to be our faithful protector by helping us to rely on your ultimate authority over our lives.. Yes, God you are sovereign and we know we can trust you.

Although our hearts may feel overwhelmed with emotions and doubts at times, we know that according to John 14 you have promised us peace. Not only peace but a peace that surpasses all understanding. We know that you are not a God that lies and you will keep your promises. God we ask that you allow your peace to envelope us like never before.

All these things we ask in your son Jesus name, AMEN

Open Heavens and Heavenly Places

Question: If we are seated in Heavenly places with Christ Jesus, why do we have need of or declare that we are under an open heaven?

An “Open Heaven” is where there’s a nearness of Heaven to earth. There’s a sense of presence, there’s a sense of clarity of thought, of heart, and mind that is unusual. (ref. Bill Johnson).

To understand the answer to this question one must understand that we have in a sense a dual citizenship in the earth realm as well as, in heaven. At the moment we accept salvation we become joint heirs with Christ Jesus and are therefore, seated in heavenly places by faith. This allows us to truly begin experience the heaven on earth. Which is represented by the state of purity, exaltation and favor with the Father. We are now citizens of heaven (But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ – Phil. 3:20), a people prepared to experience His glory (What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory- Rom. 9:23). Because we are in Christ we have a right to the privileges, blessings, and responsibilities of citizens of the kingdom of heaven. Even now, spiritually we occupy the heavenly city. In this life we should experience a foretaste of heavenly living that centers on fellowship with the Father and Son through the Holy Spirit.

“At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.” Mark 1:9-10

In John 1:32, “the spirit descended upon Him like a dove and remained.” The fact that the scripture asserts that the spirit remained supports the fact that the Spirit of God rested on Jesus and it remains with believers as well. So, despite our attitude, behavior and conduct does not cause the Spirit of God to retreat.

In true form to His purpose and calling Jesus showed us how it is accomplished – baptized in water, the heavens were ripped open, the Spirit of God came upon Him, and then He said, “I do what I see my Father do, I say what I hear my Father say.” You do not see a reaction to the darkness around Him, you see a response to the Father. So, as believers we should not succumb to the darkness around us but respond to our Heavenly Father’s will.

The following scripture will explain the aforementioned aspect of the concept of an open heaven, “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:19).”

As a believer you can bind and loose whatever is already bound and loosed in heaven. As a mouth piece of God, we simply establish what the will of the Father is when we make certain decrees and declarations in the earth realm. Because these words are in alignment with the Heavenly Father all of Heaven backs up the words. Hence, the open heaven.

An Open Heaven = A nearness of the presence of God

It is a time of a great manifestation of God’s will i.e. presence in the earth realm.

A Beginner’s Prayer for Protection

Father God,

I come to you know with a bowed head and humble heart thanking you for your abundant grace and mercy. I thank you for the gift of salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

Father as I began this new walk with you I ask that you guide me every step of the way. I ask that you be a light unto my pathway (Psalm 119:105). I ask that the Holy Spirit continue to guide me in all things. I ask that He always serve as my teacher and comforter, as I learn about your will and purpose for my life I pray that you continue to cover and protect me. Father, you know the plans you have for me. Plans that will prosper and not harm me. Father, I thank you for the new found hope (faith) and future that I have in you (Jeremiah 29:11)

Father, I ask that you dispatch warring angels on my behalf (Psalm 34:7, 2 Kings 6:18-19). I thank you in advance for protecting me from danger seen and unseen (Psalm 91). I ask that you assign angels to my life, family, home and place of employment to watch and do warfare over me. All these things I ask in you son Jesus name. Amen.

God Heals

A few years back during the spring, I found myself having a constant pain in my chest. I was fearful of what the doctor might say but I could no longer deal with the intensity of the pain. After numerous doctor appointments, ER visits and tests, the results was always the same – There isn’t anything wrong.

At that time the church I belong to always had a youth revival. As the youth minister, it was my responsibility to find a speaker or speakers for the 3 night event. However, this particular year my pastor stated he did not want anyone coming in that year. He felt the Lord wanted the youth to hear from me.

Honestly, I was reluctant because of the constant pain and other issues. For each night of rhe revival God stretched me even more as a man of God and the tangible presence of God increased with each service.

A week or so later I realized that I was no longer in pain. I remember hurting when I stood up to speak the first night and cannot recall having the pain since.

What I learned:
1) Obedience is better than sacrifice
2) Whatever you need is in the presence of God.

Something to Think About:
1) What is fear stopping from manifesting in your life?
2) Could disobedience be the reason why God’s presence seems void in certain areas of your life?

Properly Releasing Individuals From A Ministry

If you are a leader in a ministry, please understand that there are various roles and responsibilities that must be fulfilled with integrity.

One of your roles/functions is the ability to PROPERLY release individuals from a ministry.

1) Individuals are released when they geographically relocate.
2) Individuals are released when they have matured to the point that their destiny/purpose is calling them to go forth in ministry.
3) Individuals are released when they are the source of contention to the point that their presence becomes detrimental to the existence of the church.

It is NOT wise to release people out of your flesh. Because YOU personally have a issue with them.
It is NOT wise to refuse to release a person because YOU feel that the church will suffer because of their absence.
It is NOT wise to attempt to destroy a person or a ministry instead of releasing them or it to go forward in God.
It is NOT wise to force a person to remain in a ministry when THEY have decided it’s time for them to leave.

Ways leaders birth death in God’s Kingdom:
1) Releasing individuals prematurely.
2) Purposely wounding an individual or a ministry.
3) Elevating individuals to positions and responsibilities that he/she is not called to or prepared to fulfill.

Wise (Godly) Counsel

Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you – James 1: 4-5

Recently, I heard the following profound statement: Wise counsel is giving advice from scriptural foundation.

As believers we must be mindful that we are not receiving or giving counsel from our emotions. It is also vitally important that the person that is giving counsel clearly hears the voice of God.

Sometimes we believe that just because a person has reached a certain age or has a position that he or she is qualified give counsel. That is not necessarily true. I’ve had previous experiences with individuals that were older in years and exceeded my position however, they functioned on a lower level of maturity within the church and/or professional sectors.

It is also very important that the person that you are receiving counsel from is someone that is not intimidated by you. The person should be secure in their own calling and purpose. He or she must be confident and who they are in God or their profession with the ability to appropriately correct and instruct others. It should be a person that doesn’t hesitate to tell you what you need to hear, whether you want to hear it or not. It is for this very reason that sometimes the person God has assigned to share wise (Godly) counsel with you, may not be considered a friend.

From a spiritual perspective, believers should surround themselves with a wise group of individuals that are able to speak into their lives on a continuous basis. As an educator, I’ve often told my students that their five closest friends serve as a mirror to who they truly are and what they value. The individuals also highlight the type and level of wisdom they are or are not receiving in life.

Take a brief break from reading and do that very brief assessment. …………… Are you pleased with the assessment? If you are always the most intelligent or accomplished than you are need of adjusting your circle. However, if you are on the opposite end of spectrum, the least intelligent or accomplished without a desire to be better than you must question if you have consciously or unconsciously accepted that role in life. This is a necessary question because everyone you have chosen to surround yourself with is excelling in some form or another, so there is a level of wisdom that you are being exposed to but failing to utilize.

Regardless of where you find yourself among this group of individuals/friends, there is always room for more wise (Godly) counsel. However, I am a firm believer in prayer. As Christians we must exercise our faith and allow God to lead us to the right individuals that will provide wise (Godly) counsel in life. We must also be mindful that God does not always send what we would term as the ideal person to assist us. Personally, I constantly pray that God will open up my heart, mind and spirit to the things He has for me. I strive to remain open to God’s will for my life, in the past I have had individuals younger, older, from various races and walks of life share wise counsel with me. I am thankful to God for knowing my heart and divinely orchestrating those connections. I am also a firm believer that He is and will continue to do the same for you if you allow him to do so.


One of the best ways to ensure that we have the right mindset regarding wise (Godly) counsel is to learn what the Word of God says about it. One of the best books in the bible I believe on the topic of wisdom is Proverbs. Below I’ve included a few scriptures to aide you in learning more about this topic.

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, But a wise man is he who listens to counsel. – Proverbs 12:15

Where there is no guidance the people fall, But in abundance of counselors there is victory. – Proverbs 11:14

Listen to counsel and accept discipline, That you may be wise the rest of your days. – Proverbs 19:20

For by wise guidance you will wage war, And in abundance of counselors there is victory. – Proverbs 24:6

He whose ear listens to the life-giving reproof Will dwell among the wise. He who neglects discipline despises himself, But he who listens to reproof acquires understanding. The fear of the LORD is the instruction for wisdom, And before honor comes humility. – Proverbs 15:31-33

Whether you found yourself being the lesser or greater in your group of “friends” I suggest that you take the time to earnestly pray the following prayer:

Father God, I come to you now humbly submitted to your will for my life. God, I ask according to your word in James 1:5, if any man lacks wisdom let him ask and you will give it freely. God, I ask for wisdom and I open up my heart and spirit to your will for my life. Father God, I ask that you continue to order my steps in accordance with your word, and purpose for my life. God, if their are any individuals in my life that prevent me from receiving wise and Godly counsel, I pray that you silence their voices of distraction. In your own timing and way severe these unproductive relationships. God, I thank you for divine connections from the past, present and future. I know you have an a great and expectant end for me and you have divinely placed specific individuals in my life to encourage me along the way. I ask that my spiritual ears and eyes are open to receive those individuals. I put away the expectations of the world regarding my life and I open myself up to the Godly wisdom given by your Holy Spirit and those you have purposed to be in my life. God, I thank you in advance for the new found wisdom and counsel that I have found and will continue to obtain in your divine timing. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
